Mykola Tarasovych is the author of a number of publications on the history of publishing, Ukrainian-Jewish relations and local lore, monograph "Ukrainian-Jewish discourse: coverage of interethnic relations in the printed editions of the Dnieper region (60s of the XIX century - early XX century).
Research interests: history and present of Ukrainian book publishing, history of the press, Ukrainian-Jewish relations, Ukrainian-Polish relations in the interwar period and during World War II, the Ukrainian resistance movement of the 60-80s of the twentieth century, local lore.
