On November 25, 2020, a round table "Countering disinformation in the conditions of the hybrid war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" was held. The event was supported by the European Expert Association under the Peer-to-Peer (P2P): Countering Disinformation Challenge: peer-to-peer challenges.
The speakers were international and national experts in the field of information security, countering misinformation and information operations, cybersecurity.
The purpose of the event was to find ways and means to counter information threats from Russia and disseminate experience in detecting misinformation and fake information, improving media literacy, developing skills and abilities for critical perception and evaluation of modern media content.
During the round table, Yevhen Magda, a lecturer at the Department of Armed Forces and the Armed Forces, made a presentation on "Countering disinformation among civilians and the military." The performance made a great impression on the audience. Mr. Eugene Magda presented the work on the recognition of fake information during the information aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
