Elective disciplines

Elective disciplines - disciplines of free choice of students for a certain level of higher education, aimed at providing general and special (professional) competencies in the specialty.
The volume of elective courses is not less than 25% of the total number of ECTS credits provided for this level of education.
Regulations on the Individual curriculum of a student of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky establishes that elective courses from the university catalog students are required to choose in the system "Electronic Campus".
The minimum number of students in the group to study the elective discipline of the university catalog is 20 people, the maximum - 30.

The catalog contains an annotated list of disciplines that are offered for students of the first (bachelor's) level of HE according to the curriculum for the next academic year.
- first-year students - choose disciplines for the second year of training;
- II year students - choose disciplines for the third year of training;
- 3rd year students do not choose a discipline from the proposed ZU-Catalog;
- first and second year students studying in the abbreviated Bachelor's program (accelerated) - choose the discipline in accordance with their curriculum.

Some disciplines are offered for study by students of certain faculties.
For some disciplines, there is a limit to the number of students that can be offered. In these cases, the name of the discipline is marked by the target audience (for students ...) or the number of places (up to ... students). In the process of choosing a discipline, please take into account these features.
