On October 29, the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Roman Ivanchenko Scientific School" took place. This year it brought together scientists from Ukraine, & nbsp; Belarus, Poland.
The conference was marked by a wide range of topics: the reports addressed the features of modern mass communication, educational and communication trends, history and modernity of book publishing. Various aspects of the study of editing, publishing, journalism and mass communications in general were voiced dynamically and meaningfully: from "Returned book heritage as a factor in the formation of national memory of Ukrainians" (M. Andriychuk) to "Sales promotion as a component of marketing communications delivery services in quarantine period (A. Kamuz).
Traditionally, the conference brought together both scientists - practitioners and teachers, and the young scientific generation - masters and graduate students: reports by V. Kysil, O. Galileiska, O. Yurkova, V. Varenyk, A. Kamuz, A. Stefan, I. Melnyk , A. Zagoruy. This testifies to the continuous connection of generations at the department.
Among the reports that received the most discussion, generated discussions and new ideas for development and application, were & nbsp; "Authorship in the context of editorial textology" by Olena Levchuk (Igor Sikorsky National Technical University of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine), "Media Socialization as a Component of the Media Education Process" by Serhiy Venediktov and Yevheniy Ivanov (Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) Mogilev, Belarus), "Popularization of science in a coronavirus pandemic: the use of VR technologies" Veronica Kysil (graduate student, National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI named after Igor Sikorsky", Kyiv, Ukraine) and others.
The conference was held online, given the epidemiological circumstances in Ukraine. The conference participants complemented their reports with excellent presentations. The report on museums by O. Ivanets became especially bright (State Polytechnic Museum at the Igor Sikorsky KPI. Kyiv, Ukraine).
The combination of theory and practice, lively discussion, current topics, great atmosphere, high school of scientific communication were the hallmarks of this year's IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Roman Ivanchenko Scientific School".
The Organizing Committee is already starting preparations for the 10th anniversary conference!
