Phiyalka Svitlana Borysivna
Associate Professor, Candidate of Sciences in Social Communications



She graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI" in 2005 and received a full higher education in "Publishing and Editing" (qualification - editor), a diploma with honors. While studying for a postgraduate degree, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Sciences in Social Communications on the topic "Editing educational literature on cultural studies for higher education."

 
Since 2002 he has been a freelance editor of the publishing house of the Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU). Since 2004 he has been a freelance editor of the National Aviation University (NAU) publishing house. 2004-2007 - full-time researcher at the Research Institute of Labor and Employment of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, editor of the scientific-economic and socio-political journal "Ukraine: aspects of labor", which is included in the HAC. Since 2008 he has been a lecturer at the Department of Publishing and Editing at VPI NTUU "KPI" (disciplines: "Fundamentals of Publishing", "Fundamentals of Editing", "Editing Educational Literature", "Theory of Mass Communication", "Editorial Skills").
 
Author of more than 20 scientific papers, active initiator of student publishing projects.
 

Research interests: legislation and standards in the field of publishing, editing educational publications for higher education, editing scientific literature of economic, legal and technical areas, didactic apparatus of educational literature, stylistics of the modern Ukrainian language, information wars in the context of new media.
