30.10.2020 at the Department of Publishing and Editing VPI KPI. Igor Sikorsky hosted the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Roman Ivanchenko Scientific School", which brought together scientists from Ukraine, Belarus and Poland.
This year's conference was dedicated to such a topical issue today as social communications during the quarantine period. In particular, scientists were interested in the reports "Changing the paradigm of crisis communications during the COVID-19 pandemic (on the example of Ukraine)" by T. Fisenko and "The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the formation of readers' trust in Internet media" O. Hrytsenko.
The conference was held online (on the Zoom platform) for the first time. This form did not prevent the discussion of topical issues of the industry, active discussion and friendly atmosphere.
The meeting also traditionally addressed issues of editorial, publishing and advertising activities in the publishing and related fields. Today, education is testing new forms, using new tools, as most higher education institutions work online. Many reports of scientists were devoted to these challenges in education, in particular: S.
